Shanghai China Wyndham Hotel
For the second year in a row, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (hereinafter referred to as WHR) has announced that it will become the official partner hotel of ITB China at the International Hotel and Convention Convention (IHCC) 2019, which will take place in Shanghai from 15 to 17 May 2019. The opening will take place on the first floor of the new hotel, which can accommodate 1,000 guests. Marriott International announced the opening of three new hotels in Australia, which will make their Asia-Pacific debut in 2021, and the award-winning Microtel (r) Hotel Group, the world's largest hotel franchising company, has announced the opening of its first hotel in the United States in New York City, as well as the launch of a new brand in Hong Kong and a second hotel in Tokyo, Japan. In addition to expanding into Australia and New Zealand in 2018 and 2019 and premiering in Japan in 2020 and 2020, both of which are located in Asia - Pacific regions with strong demand for luxury hotels in China and South America, as well as Latin America - 2019 is set to be the third year of significant expansion in South Africa and Australia. With the addition of two new locations in Sydney and Sydney, Australia's second largest city and largest metropolitan area in terms of population and population density, the company is further expanding its presence by launching new brands and hotels in key primary and secondary markets in each of these key primary and secondary markets.

The 19 New World Shunde Hotel is located in the heart of Shanghai, China's second largest city and the largest port city in the world. The city of Pudong, the capital of the People's Republic of China (PRC), is located in the heart of the Pearl River Delta and hosts more than 1.5 million people annually.
Headquartered in Denham, Buckinghamshire, the British multinational hotel company is one of the largest hotel chains in the world with more than 1,500 hotels and resorts. IHG has over 2,000 hotels in nearly 100 countries and is the largest hospitality industry in the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Wyndham will increase the number of hospitals in China to more than 1,400 by the end of 2017 as part of its ambitious plan to implement a global expansion plan for its hotel business.
The number of hotel rooms in China held by Wyndham, the largest foreign operator, is the third in Huazhu and the fifth in Jin Jiang.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts plans to expand its presence in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, thereby better positioning itself for future growth in China and the rest of the Asia-Pacific region. Howard Johnson, Ramada and other brands have opened hotels in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hubei and Guangdong, and Cordis, Hangzhou and Sci-Tech City have joined. WyNDham is the largest international hotel franchisee in China, including Wingate, which entered the region in 2018 and 2017 respectively.
The new Hangzhou Microtel, which will include WyNDham Hotels & Resorts' first ever international hotel in China, will include a hotel, office space, restaurants and retail space, as well as an office building, and will be integrated into the city's new science and technology city, the first of its kind in the country.
The hotel is to be located in the heart of Hangzhou, the capital of China's Jiangsu Province, and will be not only an international hotel, but also office and retail space. WyNDham will have 10 meeting rooms, including a meeting room for business and business meetings, and a conference room. The hotel will also offer dexter, the world's first and only short-haul aircraft that will reduce travel time between China and the United States, and will be equipped with 42-inch flat-screen televisions.
To further expand Marriott's presence in holiday destinations, the JW Marriott brand is to be brought to Jeju Island, South Korea, in 2019, while further expanding its presence in the resort. Marriott International is taking advantage of this trend and is strengthening its luxury portfolio. The first luxury hotel in the USA is expected to open in Las Vegas in 2021.
